Churchdown Community Association

Cheltenham & District Orchid Society will be holding their Orchid Show at the Community Centre on Saturday 6th March from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm.

Entry £1.50.  Event includes Nursery & Society Displays, plants for sale, (including alpines), talks, potting demonstrations & advice, ‘resident Artists’, tombola and refreshments.

Why not join us for a night of fun at the C.A. Social Club on Friday 19th March. Gold Cup Day at Cheltenham – Race Night at the Social Club. 8 filmed races, Race Card, betting on the Tote, plus a game of Irish Bingo.

If you have never visited the Social Club, why not try it this evening.  New members welcome, bring the family along.

To complete the Irish week, join us on Saturday evening 20th March, when we have Rob Cook, singer/Guitarist singing songs from the Furies, The Dubliners, Brendan Shine, The Pogues, Daniel O’Donnnell and others.

Music is played from 9.00pm to 10.00pm, then 10.30pm to 11.45pm

The next AGM for the community centre will be held on 23rd March 2010 at 8 pm. All members welcome.

Welcome in the New Year with friends dancing to a 6 piece showband – Dancin Easy.  Reserved tables, bring your own food but buy your drinks at the Bar!  Tickets £10 each.

Saturday 31st October at 7.30.p.m.Halloween Disco with Pee Wee’s Disco in the main hall of Community Centre.  Tickets Adults £4 and Children under 14 £2.  Come in Fancy Dress or casual – Prizes for best costumes.  Tickets from the Office (9.00.a.m. – 1.00.p.m.) or the Bar.
